Camila Cabello Thinks Friendship Break-ups Are Worse Than Romantic Break-ups

Nearly every artist in the world sings about romantic break-ups, and the turbulence of romantic love — but one song on Camila Cabello‘s upcoming solo album addresses what is in her opinion a more painful kind of break-up.

“In a romantic relationship you think, this is amazing, this is beautiful, I love this person, but there’s a part of you that’s always prepared for it to end,” the 20-year-old singer told Flaunt.

With friendships, however, she thinks the pain is worse because it’s unexpected.

“I feel with a friendship you think it’s going to last forever,” Camila continued. “You start to consider that person like your family and so you don’t see an end to that. So when it’s like a shocking or abrupt ending that’s worse.”

Her song “I Have Questions,” released in May, is about a friendship ending and grappling with that pain.

We can’t wait to hear the entire album!
