Taylor Swift Won't Be Performing at the MTV VMAs, EP Says

It doesn’t look like Taylor Swift will be performing at this weekend’s 2017 MTV VMAs, despite all our wants for her to do so.

The 27-year-old singer, who just announced her album Reputation and will be dropping her brand new single tonight, won’t be hitting the stage for a performance at all.

EP Jesse Ignjatovic told People, “She has been on the show many times and [has] performed with a new album coming, but not this time.”

He adds, “I definitely wish she was coming on and performing.”

So, nix all those expectations and rumors of Taylor performing with host Katy Perry too. It won’t be happening.

The 2017 MTV VMAs take place on Sunday, August 27th from The Forum in Los Angeles.
