Charlie Puth Has Over 1000 Voice Memos on His Phone

Charlie Puth is about to drop a new album called Voice Notes, an off-shoot name of the phone app.

The “Attention” singer and musician recently opened up about how the title came about and just how many notes he has stored in his phone.

“I’ve been obsessed with recording my voice,” Charlie admits to USA Today, about how the idea for the album title came to him.

He continues, “I’m not very good at writing actual music notes down and it’s very important that I capture the inspiration as much as possible, so I don’t forget it.”

Charlie adds, “When I listen to it later, I’m just instantly brought back to that inspirational moment of the day.”

He admits that he probably has more notes than one should.

“I have probably thousands of ideas (on voice memos),” Charlie laughs. “They’re all named interesting things, so they’ll get my attention if I ever scroll through them.”

Voice Notes will be out this fall.
