Niall Horan Confirms His 'Flicker' Album Will Be Released in October

Niall Horan let slip the other night that his debut album will be titled “Flicker,” and now he has confirmed the release date to the public as well.

During his London show last night (August 31) at O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, the former One Direction singer revealed that the album will be hitting the masses sometime in October.

“It has been a year and a half in the making and it is finally time for people to hear it,” he continued. Niall said he has been working on the solo debut album since March 2016.

As for “Flicker,” the song he decided to name the album after, he calls it the “most important song” he has “ever written.”

“I was kind of in this phase where I was spending weeks and weeks on this concept and I was coming up with nothing,” he shared. “I was just sitting at home one day and put the phone on my knee and I started recording a voice note. It was one of those songs which just came out of me and happened.”

Niall‘s new single, “Too Much to Ask,” is out this month.

We can’t wait!
