Selena Gomez's 'Wizards' Dad Totally Approves of The Weeknd

Selena Gomez‘s Wizards of Waverly Place dad, David DeLuise, is definitely an Abelena shipper!

David took to Instagram this week to post a photo of himself holding both Selena and her boyfriend The Weeknd‘s (whose real name is Abel Tesfaye) magazine covers in his hands.

In the pic, David looks ecstatic as he flashes the biggest smile ever.

“Look!!! I ran into @selenagomez and @theweeknd,” he captioned it, along with an emoji that also has a huge smile on its face. Total dad move!

David played Sel‘s on-screen father when the show ran from 2007-2012 on Disney Channel.
