Tyler Posey's Adam Will Be a Fun Romance for Jane on 'Jane the Virgin'

Jane the Virgin is back in about a month and we are way more excited than we possibly should be.

Showrunner Jennie Urman teased what’s ahead for the upcoming season and it looks like a lot of fun and romance for Jane (Gina Rodriguez), thanks to Tyler Posey‘s Adam.

“There’s a lot of joy I want to tap into this season,” Jennie says. “[Adam] reminds Jane that she’s not just a mom, and that she can be doing a little bit more wild and crazy, 27-year-old kind of stuff.”

But it’s just not Jane’s romance that we’ll see on screen when the series returns. It looks like Petra (Yael Grobglas) is getting back out there too.

She “[has] a variety” of love interests heading her way, in her “great, twisty, turn-y love life this year.”

What about Rafael (Justin Baldoni)? Well, seems he’s gonna be a couch surfer.

“…with his Bowflex and all his protein drinks. He sort of takes over the Villanueva house, and it does create a stress in [his] relationship [with Jane].”

But, there’s a silver lining: “He forms an unexpected bond with Alba, who is Team Rafael.”

Jane the Virgin returns in October on The CW.
