Oliver Gets A Lesson In What True Love Looks Like in Arrow's Upcoming Crossover

The upcoming Arrow-verse crossover is for sure going to feature one love story, but why not another?

It seems like Oliver (Stephen Amell) might be getting a true lesson in love, according to executive producer Wendy Mericle.

The crossover is “really Oliver’s story,” she tells TVGuide. “It’s Oliver and one other character in the Arrow-verse’s story.”

She adds, “It really explores the question of true love, and what does that look like? It’s emotionally really compelling, and you’re going to be surprised by what he learns and how he learns it and who he learns it from. It’s pretty crazy stuff, I’m not going to lie.”

So, can we put a bet on that other person being Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards)? We’re going to anyway.

Arrow returns on Thursday, October 12th @ 9PM ET/PT on The CW.
