Here's Everything We Know About 'Supergirl' Season 3

Supergirl is flying back into our lives on The CW tonight!

Last time we saw Kara (Melissa Benoist), she was facing off against Rhea as Earth’s Champion. However, as much as she tries, she cannot defeat her.

This means that her love, Mon-El (Chris Wood) has to leave Earth, for an undetermined amount of time.

With Mon-El still lost in space, season three opens with Kara coping with his absence and trying to deal with a handful of new villains that have arrived in National City.

There Will be Multiple Villains
Season three brings a number of new bad guys and girls.

This includes Robert DuBois as Bloodsport, an ex-military soldier who uses stolen tech from his old base to hide a nuclear weapon. Then there’s Adrian Pasdar steps in as ruthless real estate developer Morgan Edge whose big plans for National City don’t sit well with Kara and Lena Luthor.

Yael Grobglas is set to play Psi, a villain with psychic abilities.

Reign Will Be The True Big Bad

Odette Annable will play the villain, the leader of a group of genetically modified aliens known as Worldkillers who have an insatiable thirst for destruction. With no memory of her past, the single mom goes by the name Samantha and will seek out Supergirl to find out more about her heritage.

Green Martians Live!
J’onn J’onnz (David Harewood) is in for a family reunion in the new season and we’ll meet his father, M’yrnn (Carl Lumbly).

Less Maggie
While she and Kara’s sister, Alex Danvers (Chyler Leigh) are engaged, the actress who plays her, Floriana Lima, decided to pursue other opportunities and will now be a recurring character.

Mon-El’s Whereabouts
So, we know Mon-El is lost in space somewhere after escaping the planet in the season two finale. His pod was knocked off course and fell through a portal to another dimension.

We don’t know when, or if, Mon-El will return this season.
