Caity Lotz Dishes About The New Season of 'Legends of Tomorrow' & Talks Sara's Love Life

Caity Lotz is stoked about the return of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow TONIGHT on the CW.

Speaking with NKD magazine for their October issue, the actress opened up about what’s ahead of the team and her relationship with former “boss” Rip Hunter.

“Its really funny,” she says of what opens the season. “We’ll see who these people would be if they weren’t doing what they’re doing, but the main goal for the team once they reunite is to fix the timeline that they so badly damaged at the end of Season 2.”

And about Rip…”They’re always kind of at odds with each other, even when they’re on the same team. There’s definitely going to be a lot more butting heads.”

So what about Sara Lance’s love life? Will we finally see her in a relationship?

“I’m excited for her to have something a little more meaningful,” Caity shared ahead of the premiere. “I’ve had so many girls that are bi, or lesbian or just not sure say how much it means to them to be able to see a character on TV thats like them, and to see that and go, ‘Oh look, OK, I’m not weird, I’m not messed up, this is normal.’”

“To have that representation on TV and what it means to them has been the best thing about this character,” she adds. “The fact that we don’t make it this big thing about who she is — it’s not like, Oh, the bi girl. It’s just one thing about her, and that’s the way it should be handled.”
