Lindsey Stirling Changed Her Eating Regimen After Signing Up For DWTS Because of Her Eating Disorder

Lindsey Stirling is just one of many celebs who have struggled with an eating disorder.

“I want people to have hope. I was 23 the first time I went to a support group,” she shared a few years ago. “As I listened to the other girls talk, suddenly I didn’t feel like a freak. You’re told that it’s an incurable disease, but I want people to see that I was deep in it—and that now I am out of it.”

Now that she’s competing on Dancing With The Stars, though, her entire regimen has changed.

She needs to keep up healthy eating habits, because with the show, many celebs do find that they’ve lost weight when they’re not looking.

“I’m not used to eating this much, but I lost 8 lbs. in the first two or three weeks, so now I’m on a new regimen,” Lindsey shared with People.

She adds, “I’m eating steaks all the time, still trying to be really healthy but just trying to get calories, eating full peanut butter scoops.”
