'The Fosters' Season 5B Returns January 9th on Freeform

Fresh off of fans campaigning for a season six for The Fosters, Freeform has announced the premiere date and details for season 5B.

The series starring Maia Mitchell, David Lambert, Cierra Ramirez, Hayden Byerly, Teri Polo, Noah Centineo and Sherri Saum will be back on our small screens on Tuesday, January 9th.

The Fosters will return for 10 all-new episodes which include that coveted 100th episode.

“‘The Fosters’ has never shied away from tackling important social issues like immigration rights, LGBTQ rights and adoption rights,” Joanna Johnson, executive producer shared. “We will continue to tell those important stories this season for those who too often are not heard.”
