Justin Bieber's Pastor Says He Was Not Responsible For World Tour Cancellation

Justin Bieber sparked headlines when he cancelled the remainder of his Purpose World Tour back in July, and his fans have proposed a number of theories for why he wasn’t able to finish the performances.

Now, Pastor Carl Lentz is speaking out against the rumors that he had a role in the singer’s tour cancellation.

“People who speculate like that don’t have any context of what it means to have a pastor or a friend,” he told the hosts of The Breakfast Club on Friday (October 27).

Justin made his own calls. He made his own decisions. It’s not my role to tell this boy, this man really, man of God, what to do. He’s gonna do what he’s gonna do and I’m going to sit there and say, ‘I’m with you.’ If he asks for advice, I would give it. But that’s not my primary role.”

He also points out that the wrath of Justin‘s fans isn’t something anyone would provoke.

“Why would I want Beliebers mad at me?”

FYI: Justin is also pictured leaving lunch in Los Angeles on Friday (October 27).
