Gigi Hadid Wants To Be More Than Just The 'Girl Next Door'

Gigi Hadid lets out a huge laugh on the cover of Glamour‘s December 2017 issue.

The model opened up about her international background and wanting to be more than just the ‘girl next door’, which she’s constantly labeled as.

“When I started working in fashion, it was like, ‘Gigi, the all-American.’ I was very much that ‘girl next door,’” she shares in the issue, “but if you read my interviews, I always talk about my parents’ cultural backgrounds.”

Gigi adds that its’ her parents upbringing and drive that makes her strive to be a better person.

“I want to be the person who always uses my platform to share what I’m passionate about,” Gigi says. “But it’s also scary and something I’ve learned to be cautious about.”
