Selena Gomez & Francia Raisa Healed From Their Kidney Surgeries Together

Selena Gomez and Francia Raisa sat down for their first interview about their kidney surgeries this morning with the Today show.

In the candid interview, the two actresses and BFFs opened up about the grueling experience where Selena also revealed that she got a space for her and Francia to recover together afterwards.

“What I wanted more than anything was for us to be together, so I got a space for us to be in together,” Selena said. “You’re on bed rest, you’re allowed to walk for an hour a day, and you can’t do any stairs or anything crazy.”

Francia added that the two couldn’t really do anything without help from someone else.

“You constantly need to ask for help,” she shared. “I think one of the most humbling experiences was needing help to, like, put on underwear. We couldn’t take showers by ourselves. It was a really brutal process.”
