Kelsea Ballerini Wrote Song 'Unapologetically' Just After Meeting Fiance Morgan Evans

Kelsea Ballerini is most likely a full believer in the “when you know, you know” mantra know.

Just hours before dropping her sophomore album, the musician revealed to USA Today that lead track “Unapologetically” was written just after she met her now fiance, Morgan Evans.

“We wrote the song right after I had gotten back from Australia,” Kelsea shares. “I remember just really in my head being like, ‘Oh I feel it happening, love is happening,’ but I couldn’t really talk about it yet.”:


“So before you talk about it, you write about it.”
