Sabrina Carpenter Gushes About Riverdale's Casey Cott During Fan Q&A

Sabrina Carpenter has nothing but praise for Riverdale‘s Casey Cott, who starred in her music video for “Why!”

The singer dropped the video back in July, and it garnered over 1 million views in just one day.

In the video, Sabrina and Casey play love interests who share a kiss, a magical tour around New York City, and Chinese take-out by candlelight.

“He’s such a good actor and I definitely wanted a great actor for the video,” Sabrina said during a recent fan Q&A.

“That was the first day I met him, was the day that we shot the video,” she continued. “A lot of what we did had to be very natural, and it had to feel like we were growing together in this relationship even though we’d just met that day.”

“He’s so incredible and so wonderful as a person that it made it so easy to film with him, and poke him in the eyes with chopsticks while we were eating Chinese food, and dance, and it was lovely,” she added. “He’s amazing.”
