Val Chmerkovskiy Feels 'Lucky' To Be With Jenna Johnson

Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson had a cute day out in New York City today (December 6).

The pro dancers and longtime couple headed to the Empire State Building to check out the view after visiting the Museum of Natural History.

“I’m tired of fighting this…I know that people and Hollywood are obsessed with romance,” he shared with PeopleNow about going public with their relationship. “I feel like if it’s private, it should remain private.”

Val continues, “But I do realize I’m a hypocrite when I’m on Instagram sharing our vacations and my love for her.”

“I do feel very happy and lucky [to be with her],” he added later on in the video.

When you think about this, it’s actually kind of sad that he felt pressured to go public. We love Val and Jenna (as individuals and as a couple), but hope that we weren’t part of the pressure.
