Dove Cameron Admits She Doesn't Care About Mal & Ben's Love Story That Much

Dove Cameron kind of, a little, broke our hearts here.

After Sofia Carson and Whoopi Goldberg got us all excited about talk of Descendants 3 most likely happening, we can’t stop thinking about what the third film would even look like — and the four VK stars have some ideas.

But, Dove‘s hopes for the third film could maybe cut out Mal and Ben’s love story altogether.

“I want her to become her own individual,” she shared about her hopes for Mal, if there is a Descendants 3 coming.

“She’s always been a leader type…I want her to unlock this chosen-one power she has.”

Dove adds, “I don’t really care about the love story…It’s a beautiful thing and it adds to it, and I love romance, but I really would love to see her kind of Mulan her way in the third film and become this amazing, limitless entity.”
