Lauren Jauregui is giving a major shout out to all those involved in the Me Too movement.
The Fifth Harmony singer shared her thoughts about all those sharing their stories of sexual harassment in their environment and hopes they know that their voices are heard.
“Shout out to all the strong and beautiful women out there who have given the world their story using #metoo,” she wrote. “Shout out to all the incredible ones who are still suffering in silence. Shout out to the men who have been victims. Shout out to those who believe us.”
Lauren adds, “Each woman I know has a story or a friend who does. Too many women, some of the strongest I know, had to figure out how to navigate a system that doesn’t believe them.”

Shout 2 the ones that are quiet & refuse to confront their pain. Rape culture has made us a society of #metoo . Each woman I know has a story or a friend who does. Too many women, some of the strongest I know, had to figure out how to navigate a system that doesn't believe them.

A system that blames them for how much better they should've handled a situation they didn't ask for. This is why educating kids & each other about consent is so essential. I appreciate each voice that has come forward. To see these spaces of creativity become free of abuse

slowly but surely is truly satisfying. I have dealt with harassment my entire life from multiple people/strangers (especially once fame hit) & even when I think back to high school. Im so proud that "getting over it" or "boys will be boys" isn't enough to excuse abuse anymore

I am so proud that we are acknowledging these things and honoring each other's pain and truth. I am proud of each and every human affected by the pain of being violated or overpowered. No more silence. Sending love to everyone ?????????
