'The Voice' Winner Chloe Kohanski Never Really Thought She'd Win

Chloe Kohanski was crowned the winner of The Voice season 13 just last night (December 19) — but she actually never thought she’d win!

The 23-year-old singer, who was originally part of Team Miley before Team Blake stole her in the battle rounds, opened up to reporters after her crowning.

“I never had a moment where I thought I have this in the bag,” Chloe shared. “It instilled a lot of confidence in me. No matter what I was walking away with I have a sense of who I am.”


Chloe adds that she has big plans for her music career going forward.

“The first thing on my mind is working on a record,” she says. “I think you should never stop learning and the coolest part of working with you is hearing a new perspective.”

Chloe also wants “to plan a tour and I’m thinking about visuals for that as well. I’m very excited that this is just a catapult into what is a very creative process for me.”
