Rowan Blanchard Opens Up About How She Takes Care of Her Mental Health

Rowan Blanchard is always looking out for her mental health and speaking with Coveteur recently, dished about how she does it.

The Goldbergs actress revealed that just going on a walk helps her out tremendously.

“Or doing some sort of timed activity where I can just listen to music and not really think about anything else,” she says. “That definitely helps your mental health, and so does trying to stay off social media as much as possible.”

Rowan adds that books are part of her daily routine — actual real books, not ebooks — “Because I feel like a phone, subconsciously, probably really stresses us out.”

She also opened up about her definition of strong, which will inspire you tons.

“I would describe being strong as when you’re being truthful and honest,” Rowan says. “We have perceptions of ‘strong,’ especially for women, that very generically mean feeling empowered—whatever that means—and feeling super confident and invincible.”

“Personally, I feel like strong is whenever you’re telling the truth to yourself, even if that means feeling insecure and feeling sad. That’s still strong because you’re not lying to yourself or to the world.”
