Camila Cabello Is Holding Onto Her Charli XCX Collab 'Scar Tissue' For The Perfect Moment

When Camila Cabello revealed the track list to her debut album, we really expected that her collab with Charli XCX, “Scar Tissue” would be on there — but it wasn’t!

While chatting with Zane Lowe on Beats 1′s World Record podcast, the “Havana” singer explained that she’s actually holding on to the song to release at the perfect moment.

“I’m holding it,” Camila shared. “I’m hoping to just like develop it more for something else or for the next album or whatever.”

“I want to work with her again as soon as possible,” she added. “I think we were talking about getting together in January so I definitely want to do more songwriting with her. We did a lot for the beginning stages of my project and then she had to go on tour and I went on tour and so it’s hard to get back in the same schedules with both going to writing again.”

In another interview, Charli shared that she’s also looking forward to the next time the two work together.

“We’re gonna do stuff for my record, with her writing with me. I’m just such a fan.”

Camila is due out on January 12th.
