Dove Cameron Claps Back at Racist Instagram Troll About Golden Globes Message

Dove Cameron attended her first Golden Globe Awards over the weekend in Los Angeles and was truly inspired after the event.

“Such a deep honor to have my first year at the @goldenglobes be one where I get to wear black and stand with some of hollywood’s strongest women in support of the #timesup movement,” the actress wrote about her experience.

Dove added, “The energy I felt was unparalleled, incomparable, and so deeply touching. An electric shock to the heart. A day I’ll never forget. I am truly humbled.”

While many fans loved the message as well as her look at the award show, one definitely did not.

The troll, who changed their handle several times in the midst of the drama, didn’t like anything.

“All the feminism and racism talk ruined the Golden Globes. I was watching it for the awards ffs,” they wrote before another person replied, “ok… too bad, so sad.”

That’s when the original commenter then responded writing, “of course you wouldnt mind since ur black.”
