Matthew Lewis Returns To Wizarding World of Harry Potter
Matthew Lewis aka Neville Longbottom grabs a pint of Butterbeer after a rough weekend while visiting The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood on Tuesday (January 23) in Universal City, Calif.
The 28-year-old Harry Potter actor made his very first visit to the theme park in California, he has been to the land in Orlando, Fla.
The weekend before, Matthew was met with an air travel issue, which caused him to miss a work commitment at the 2018 Sundance Film Festival.
“I’ve already missed the event I was supposed to be at. That’s done. I’m now only going to #Sundance to see how this @delta performance plays out. Besides, I’ve already been here 11 hours and I’m no quitter. I’m an idiot. But I am not a quitter. Plus @tomfelton is waiting for me,” he wrote.
He did realize that his problem wasn’t so bad when there are far worse things going on in the world. “Never missed a work commitment in my life until today. Astonishing incompetence and mind-numbing bureaucracy from @Delta. I’ll take solace in the fact there are far bigger problems in the world than my little work dilemma. Hope you all got a kick out of it anyway. Peace x.”

Big thanks to @Delta for sending your engineers out to fix our delayed plane 4 hours ago. They still haven’t arrived for that 2-3 hour repair job. Maybe we’ll get to #Sundance in 2019.

Yes, I understand the travel times can be physics-bendingly difficult. These guys have been on a 2 hour drive for 4 hours.

My issue isn’t the delay. My issue is the complete lack of information. Engineers supposed to be here in 2 hours arrive 5 hours later. Nobody even knows where they are. The fix that takes 2-3 hours is now 4 hours. Nobody suggested a delay of 10 hours. Which this will now be.

I could have made alternative arrangements if you guys had been up front with the delay instead of constantly moving the flight time. I’ve now missed my event and failed on my work commitments. Embarrassing service.

Our @delta delay now enters it’s 8th hour. With a further two more just added to our time. I think? Who knows! Nobody speaks. Tis the rule of the airport. Speak not, for thee may unwillingly give your passengers some information.

I think I’ve gone quite mad.

I’m still having the worst airline experience I’ve ever had. *MDL https://t.co/vuSrFEVs36

After 12 hours our ordeal at the hands of @delta come to an end. The plane is fixed. But the pilots are over their legal work time. @delta couldn’t possibly have foreseen this. Pilot’s hours are mysterious and unknown to all. No more pilots in all California. Flight now tomorrow.
