Original Sabrina Melissa Joan Hart Weighs In On 'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina'

Melissa Joan Hart will always be the original Sabrina the Teenage Witch, but there’s about to be a new Sabrina in town.

The actress recently opened up about her thoughts on the new, darker version of Sabrina in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, based off of the comics of the same name.

“It’s an Archie comic so the rights reverted from my company, Hartbreak Films, back to them,” Melissa told E! News. “It’s a totally different show.”

“I think what they’re doing is smart, doing the darker version. I think it’s going to be more like Buffy the Vampire Slayer than the Sabrina that most people know,” she added.

Melissa‘s production company Hartbreak Films produced the original series that she starred in.
