Becky G Is Making History With 'Mayores', Which Just Hit A Billion Views on YouTube!

Late last year, Becky G‘s hit song “Mayores” surpassed Taylor Swift‘s “Look What You Made Me Do” music video on YouTube based on views — and JJJ is so excited to say that now, the video has over a BILLION views!

That’s not all either — “Mayores” is making headlines and breaking records all over the place.

The song, which features Bad Bunny, is the #1 song on Latin radio in the US and Puerto Rico, and at only 20-years-old, Becky is the youngest female recording artist EVER to reach the #1 spot no the Latin Airplay chart with an urban track.

Since it’s July release, “Mayores” has stayed in the Top 10 on the Hot Latin Songs, Latin Airplay, Latin Digital Song Sales, Latin Streaming Songs and Latin Pop Airplay charts.

This is insane and so amazing!

“This has been such an uphill battle. To see it start to pay off and to see all of the love and support along the way really makes me feel so lucky and blessed,” Becky wrote on Instagram Stories today. “I can’t believe we are making history.”

“No one truly knows what a personal and professional challenge its been for me along the years but I will say that you guys made me believe.”

She adds, “A billion views. The youngest woman to top charts for radio airplay. A diamond record. So many new projects coming. It really wouldn’t all be possible without my team, my family and you guys. I love you.”
