Ansel Elgort Gets into Character on Set of 'The Goldfinch'

Ansel Elgort hits the streets to film a couple of scenes outside on Tuesday afternoon (February 13) in New York City.

The 23-year-old actor looked handsome in a gray suit and glasses as he spent the afternoon filming his upcoming movie The Goldfinch.

In between scenes, Ansel stayed warm in a pair of earmuffs as he chatted and joked around with a couple of crew members.

Based on the 2013 book by Donna Tartt, The Goldfinch tells the tale of Theo Decker who miraculously survives a bombing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art that kills his mother.

The movie is set to hit theaters in 2019.
