Ariana Grande Wins Hero of the Year Award at VO5 NME Awards 2018; Dedicates It To The People of Manchester

Ariana Grande has dedicated her Hero of the Year honor from the 2018 VO5 NME Awards to the people of Manchester.

Last night at the award show, the “Problem” singer was awarded with the Hero of the Year award for giving back to Manchester after the tragic bombing following her May concert in 2017.

While she wasn’t there in person, Ariana did send along a message about the win: “We really appreciate everyone who has voted tonight, but I’d like to dedicate this award to the real heroes – the people of Manchester, the brave young men and women who stand together.”

Ariana‘s One Love Manchester concert, which was also voted Music Moment of the Year, raised more than over $2million in donations for the British Red Cross, and totaled over $14 million at the end.
