The CW Is Adding Sunday Night To It's Fall Schedule

The CW is stepping up their air time and adding a sixth night to their schedule!

This Fall, the network that airs Riverdale, The Originals, Arrow, Black Lightning and more will add Sunday night programming, giving them twelve hours instead of the current ten.

The CW has picked up nine new shows for pilot orders and the new move allows for more room to add in the new shows.

“By expanding to six nights, The CW is now able to give our fans even more of the series they’re so passionate about,” Mark Pedowitz, CW President, in a statement. “Over the past seven years, The CW has added more than 80 hours of original scripted programming to its schedule – now that number can continue to climb, as we grow our broadcast lineup, and continue to add content on every platform.”
