Angourie Rice Cancelled a Tonsillectomy To Star in 'Every Day'

Angourie Rice made a funny and startling confession about her new movie, Every Day, during her appearance at Build Series on Wednesday (February 21) in New York City.

The 17-year-old actress stopped by the event with co-stars Debby Ryan and Owen Teague, plus director Michael Sucsy, and while there, confessed that she cancelled surgery to star in the film!

“It was a Wednesday and they called and said that I might have to fly out to LA on Friday,” Angourie remembered. “I ended up cancelling the tonsillectomy and doing it.”

She adds with a laugh, “This is actually the last film of me with my tonsils.”
