Lucy Hale Reveals Just Why She Looks Up To 'Life Sentence' Character Stella

Lucy Hale heads out with a few friends in New York City on Monday morning (March 5).

The 28-year-old actress stopped by Sephora for a quick shopping trip before heading to more meetings to promote her new series, Life Sentence.

Lucy has previously said that she looks up to her character, Stella, many times, and she explained just why she does to US Weekly.

“I’m definitely a person who is always thinking 10 steps ahead. I’m never living in the moment. But Stella is,” Lucy shares. “She’s present and aware of everything.”

She adds, “She’s just one of those people you aspire to be more like. I love that she has a sense of humor about everything, too. We all take ourselves too seriously sometimes. If we lightened up just a little bit, it would be a lot easier.”

Life Sentence will premiere on Wednesday, March 7th @ 9PM ET/PT on The CW.
