Rowan Blanchard Fell In Love With Movies After Watching These Ones

Rowan Blanchard gives a modern feel to an old Hollywood look at the Miu Miu fashion show during Paris Fashion Week Womenswear Fall/Winter 2018/2019 on Tuesday morning (March 6) in Paris, France.

The 16-year-old Wrinkle in Time actress recently opened up about the flicks that made her fall head over heels in love with movies.

“I don’t know if there is one film in particular, but I had an experience last April where I got to go see 2001: A Space Odyssey on the big screen in 7 millimeter,” Rowan recalls to W magazine.

“I had already seen the film, but there is something about going to a movie theater.”

She adds, “You have to give it your full attention. I was with a lot of my friends from the film industry and we were all sitting there just mesmerized by this film playing out in front of us. There is something so amazing and sacred about that.”

Rowan also cites Suspiria as one of her faves too: “I love that movies can like that, so f****** weird and quirky and bad almost. I love that a film can be so many films. When I started watching Agnes Martin movies, that literally changed my life.”
