Mackenzie Ziegler Jokes That Sister Maddie Ziegler Is The 'Weirdest' Person She Knows

Mackenzie Ziegler is all smiles on the cover the April/May 2018 issue of Girl’s Life magazine.

In the glossy, the dancer and singer opens up about her new music, book and just how it is growing up with sister Maddie.

“People wouldn’t really know this because on Instagram, Maddie looks super serious, but she’s actually the weirdest person I know,” Mackenzie says without hesitation.

She adds, “When we were little, we used to sing and dance around to the High School Musical soundtrack. We’d also pretend to be Demi Lovato and Nicki Minaj. There’s even a video of us on Instagram wearing weird hats and singing along to ‘Super Bass’ in strange accents.”

Sounds like the perfect sister relationship to us!

Mackenzie also opened up about how emotional she got after Maddie wrote the foreword to her book, “Kenzie’s Rules for Life: How to Be Happy, Healthy, and Dance to Your Own Beat”.

“I teared up when I first read it because I didn’t expect her to be so lovey-dovey,” she admits. “I thought she would say a bunch of things like how we fight a lot or that I’m annoying.”

“I called her right after I read it, and she was like, ‘Mackenzie, stop crying!’”
