Lili Reinhart Weighs In On How Betty & Archie Could Be Together on 'Riverdale'

It’s almost safe to say that we’ve all accepted (and are loving) all the current couples on Riverdale right now, yes? Yes.

However, there are still a ton of OG Betty and Archie fans out there, and Lili Reinhart is giving all of them just a little hope that something could happen with the two characters.

But, it’s still a longshot.

“I can’t say,” Lili shared with Extra during PaleyFest over the weekend. “I don’t want to say that it could go either way because Betty is quite happy with Jughead, and I think they’re relationship is really strong.”

She adds, “In the foreseeable future, I think something very drastic would have to occur for her to develop her feelings for Archie again.”

“Her feelings [for Archie] were in the pilot, and before the pilot and you never got to see Betty in her loving phase for him. But, maybe someday.”

Riverdale airs Wednesdays on The CW.
