Xander is a deep sea fisherman on a quest to uncover the truth.

“He works for his father who owns a small parlor, and they are Super blue collar people, working paycheck to paycheck,” Ian tells Rolling Out. “I feel like Zander’s lens is very different from the other characters, who are coming from a very, almost altruistic standpoint.

“Xander’s priorities are very different. I think that the way that he approaches the greatness that starts to happen is, for me, relatable. I think he’s an incredibly flawed character, but something about him that I just identify with.”
