Kira Kosarin Promises More New Music Is Coming 'Very, Very Soon' (Exclusive)

Kira Kosarin just dropped her debut single earlier this month and since we’ve heard it, it’s got us wanting more – a lot more.

Speaking to Kira at the recent Kids’ Choice Awards, the actress and singer revealed that there’s more coming!

“[It's coming] very, very soon! We’re kind of in the process of choosing the roll out plan and what we want to do next,” she says.

Kira adds, “I’ve got so much music that I’m so proud of and it’s been an incredible six months working with really inspiring people so hopefully this year, definitely a few more singles.”

Speaking of her debut single “Spy”, Kira told us that when she first wrote the song, she wasn’t happy with it at all.

“[I] kind of threw it on a shelf with a bunch of music until I had the chance to make it what I really wanted,” she shared with us. “It probably took me like 8 hours just here and there throughout a week to make it. And then recently I went and re-recorded the lead vocals and rewrote the verses in the studio to kind of update it and make it feel more me and more mature.”

Kira adds, “Obviously, I write differently as a 20-year-old than I did a couple of years ago. And then I re-recorded it and it was out! Submitted the next day. The response has been so unexpected and amazing so it’s been really great.”
