Maia Mitchell Joins KJ Apa in 'The Last Summer'

Maia Mitchell has just booked her first post-Fosters job!

The Aussie actress, who starred as Callie for five seasons on the Freeform series, will be starring opposite KJ Apa and Jacob Latimore in The Last Summer, Deadline reports.

Maia will reportedly play Phoebe in the film, a budding filmmaker in the midst of shooting a documentary about her peers.

The Last Summer follows a group of high school grads whose lives intersect in Chicago over the summer before they start college.
