Katherine Langford Shines as One of Marie Claire's Fresh Faces of 2018

Katherine Langford shines on the cover of Marie Claire‘s Fresh Faces issue, out on newsstands April 19th.

The 13 Reasons Why actress opened up about the toll the first season of the Netflix series took on her just why it’s always a great feeling returning to her hometown of Perth, Australia.

“It takes a toll emotionally and physically…” Katherine shared. “Even if you’re not going through these things, you have to evoke it. It’s hard for your body to discern.”

Katherine adds that going home is one of the ways she can disconnect from Hannah completely.

“I like going out in outrageous costumes and weird makeup,” she says. “Being in the public eye, you get robbed of your anonymity, then if people take photos of you dressed a certain way, it suddenly becomes your image.”

Katherine adds, “The wonderful thing about going home and having balance is that you gain freedom over yourself again.”
