Rowan Blanchard Opens Up About Her Outlook on Beauty is Always Changing

Rowan Blanchard is expanding her horizons on beauty.

In a new feature with InStyle magazine, the Wrinkle in Time actress opened up about how her outlook on beauty has changed, and will keep changing.

“I wasn’t interested in being quote unquote beautiful, maybe because I was told that trying to be that sacrificed your feminism,” Rowan recalls. “I was more interested in looking weird for myself.”

Rowan adds that she “just love[s] anybody who’s so strange, but now I’m also actually setting out to look like a pretty girl.”

Now, she’s seeking out beauty looks from everyone – and that includes her younger sister, Carmen.

“I told my makeup artist, ‘I want the highlight [snaps],’ ‘I want the contour [snaps].’ ‘I [snap] want [snap] to go [snap] there [snap].’”
