Emily Bett Rickards Previews Olicity's Future on 'Arrow'

Emily Bett Rickards is preparing Olicity fans on Arrow, for the what could be the worst.

In a new interview with TVLine, the actress, who plays Felicity on the series, previewed that one of the couple’s scariest moments is coming.

“We’re trying to show that heroes have vulnerable and fragile spots as well,” Emily shared about how Oliver’s cracking will affect the duo’s marriage. “Everyone needs help, and that’s the whole point about accepting family and accepting help.”

“That’s the strongest you can be, when you’re able to accept those things. And hopefully that comes across.”

Beyond that, Emily also opened up about playing the peacekeeper within the team, which has fractured into the tiniest of fragments.

“She does the best she can, but as you are usually when you want to have somebody’s side so strongly, she’s a little bit biased,” she says. “She still believes in their journey in front of them, and still wants to believe. And I think wanting to believe is, like, 95 percent of it some of the time. Without that belief, there are lives at stake. She wants to make sure she can keep things all together.”
