Storm Reid looked gorgeous in green at the 2018 DVF Awards!

The Wrinkle in Time actress was a presenter at the event held at United Nations on Friday (April 13) in New York City, helping to recognize women who are making a difference in their communities and around the world.

“‘If you want to change the world, start by being brave enough to care,’” Storm captioned the Instagram video of her speech below. “The world is a better place because the women that were honored tonight by @dvf have the courage to fight, the power to survive and the leadership to inspire girls like me.”

“@mistyonpointe it was an honor to stand in your light and present you with the Diller-von Furstenberg Family Foundation 2018 Inspiration award,” she added. “Justice Sonia Sotomayor, Ariela Suster, Jaha Dukureh, Luna Mufleh and Misty Copeland keep being brave and keep being the light for all the little girls in the world that don’t realize ANYTHING is possible.
