AJ Michalka To Star In 'The Goldbergs' 1990s Spinoff!

Congratulations to AJ Michalka!!!

The 27-year-old actor and musician has been added to the cast of spinoff series from The Goldbergs, Deadline reports.

AJ will reprise her role as Lainey Lewis in the 1990s version which will follow her, Principal Glascott (Tim Meadows) and Coach Mellor (Bryan Callen), who “despite their eccentricities and crazy personal lives, are heroes to their students.”

The untitled series has been picked up for 13 episodes in the 2018-19 season and is actually the second time it’s been tried to make happen.

AJ has been a series regular on The Goldbergs in seasons three and four, and has had a recurring role in seasons one, two and five.
