Kate Walsh Previews '13 Reasons Why's Season 2: 'It Deals More With Responsibility & Accountability'

Kate Walsh is giving us more intel on what’s to come in 13 Reasons Why season two.

The actress, who plays Hannah’s mother on the Netflix show, opened up to E! about what fans could expect from the upcoming season.

“It’s a very exciting season for a lot of reasons,” she shares. “You see us sort of following the trail of Bryce Walker (Justin Prentice), so this season deals with sexual assault, it deals with truth, it deals with responsibility, it deals with the aftermath of Hannah’s death.”

Kate adds that the series will try to “look for responsibility and accountability. It’s very intense and very, I think, still totally addictive….[it's a much more] redemptive and hope-filled story.”

The second season will also find her working with more of the younger stars on the series.

“You see my character having different relationships with different kids,” Kate says. “That part was really exciting to me, being able to play with different actors. All of them are so good.”

13 Reasons Why season one is streaming now on Netflix.
