Lele Pons Gives Her Phone Number To Some Of Her Fans For This Reason

Lele Pons isn’t your typical digital creator – she does all her own editing on her videos, she enjoys TED Talks, and even gives her phone number to fans.

Yep, you didn’t read that wrong. She actually gives out her real phone number to certain fans.

“I do give some of my fans my number…just to those who need the most help [with bullies] or have just shown the most support,” Lele shared in a recent chat with WNYC’s Note To Self podcast.

Lele adds that she does give advice to those with her number about the bullies, telling them to “ignore the bullies. Everything is going to be okay and life will go on because school is just four years.”

She also opens up about how she deals with her own haters.

“The bigger you are, the more haters you are going to have,” Lele says. “I never respond to any hate. I always ignore it and mute it…you can’t appeal to everybody and that’s something that I learned and if you think you’re going to be likeable to everyone, you are in the wrong business.”
