Joshua Rush Talks Cyrus' Fearlessness on 'Andi Mack'

Joshua Rush looks dapper in his Brooks Brothers suit while attending the 2018 GLAAD Media Awards held at The Hilton Midtown on Saturday night (May 5) in New York City.

The 16-year-old Andi Mack star recently opened up in a new interview about portraying a gay, Jewish teen on the Disney Channel show – a first for the channel.

“He’s got so much depth to him, and he’s not afraid to be who he is,” Joshua shared about his character, Cyrus.

He adds that “Andi Mack has such a great message about loving yourself, loving your family and being loyal to your friends. I want to see Cyrus keep asking hard questions and figuring out who he is over the rest of this season and in season three.”
