'13 Reasons Why' Cancels Premiere Event After Santa Fe High School Shooting

Netflix has decided to cancel tonight’s red carpet premiere of 13 Reasons Why, following the Santa Fe High School shooting.

THR reports that the premiere was called off just after hearing of the news, which claimed at least nine lives.

“Our hearts are with the victims of the Santa Fe High School shooting, and with all victims of gun violence. In light of today’s tragedy, we are cancelling the 13 Reasons Why S2 premiere event tonight,” Netflix said in a statement.

Several celebrities and the Parkland Survivors have offered their support for survivors of Santa Fe.
