'Christopher Robin' Trailer Features Winnie the Pooh & Friends - Watch Now!

The trailer for Disney’s upcoming live-action film Christopher Robin has arrived!

The clip debuted during Friday’s (May 25) The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

The Marc Foster-directed flick brings together A.A. Milne‘s beloved characters Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, Piglet, Kanga, Roo, and more.

Here’s the synopsis: “In Christopher Robin, the young boy who shared countless adventures with his band of lovable stuffed animals in the Hundred Acre Wood is now grown up and living in London but he has lost his way. Now it is up to his childhood friends to venture into our world and help Christopher Robin rediscover the joys of family life, the value of friendship and to appreciate the simple pleasures in life once again.”

The film stars Ewan McGregor as Christopher Robin; Hayley Atwell as his wife Evelyn; Bronte Carmichael as his daughter Madeline; and Mark Gatiss as Giles Winslow, Robin’s boss. It also features the voices of Jim Cummings as Winnie the Pooh and Tigger; Brad Garrett as Eeyore; Toby Jones as Owl; Nick Mohammed as Piglet; Peter Capaldi as Rabbit; and Sophie Okonedo as Kanga.

I thought that Irish actor Chris O’Dowd would be voicing TIgger in this film. But believe it or not that did sound more like Jim Cummings when I heard Tigger’s voice during the trailer.

They made these animal characters go all shrimpy in this Live Action film, Christopher Robin can even carry them around. Pooh Bear for one is supposed to be like 22 inches tall, and Piglet’s supposed to be the midget of the group. But it makes sense to give the Live Action film an England rather than American Setting like in A.A. Milne’s original books, and for some characters to look like they do in A.A. Milne’s Stories (such as Piglet with a Dark Green instead of Dark Pink vest and Tigger having yellow fur instead of orange fur).
