Did You Know Maddie Poppe Auditioned For 'The Voice'?

American Idol isn’t the only singing competition Maddie Poppe has auditioned for!

After looking through her Instagram page more, we discovered the 20-year-old American Idol champ was also a contestant on The Voice.

“A year ago today was the best day of my life. Most of this day was a blur for me, but the one thing I cherished the most was spending it with my family. We got to experience this amazing adventure as one and had so much fun together that day. But my favorite part about this day was breaking the rules and going to the beach. I seriously have never felt so fulfilled with love and happiness in my entire life. I’m so blessed that I got to experience this amazing journey. ❤️ 10-12-15,” she captioned a collage of photos back in 2016.

While Maddie didn’t make it that far on The Voice, she didn’t give up her dreams and ended up winning American Idol!
