Adam Rippon is celebrating Pride Month in the Big Apple!
The Olympic figure skater joined NYC City Council Speaker and LQBTQ rights advocate Corey Johnson at a Pride Month event at New York’s City Hall on Friday (June 8).
The event paid tribute to Adam for the work he’s done for various charitable organizations, serving as an inspiration to the LGBTQ community.
Corey took to Twitter after the event to post a celebratory video of the duo lip-syncing along to Carly Rae Jepsen‘s “Call Me Maybe.”
They also shared a video urging LGBTQ youth to run for U.S. office and to pursue their athletic dreams.
