Sabrina Carpenter Chose 'Almost Love' For Her Lead Single Because She Wanted A 'Really Confident Track'

Sabrina Carpenter heads back to her hotel after dinner out in London, England, on Tuesday (June 12).

Earlier in the day, the 19-year-old singer stopped by Build Series to chat about her new single “Almost Love”, and her upcoming album.

“I’ve had the title of the song in my phone for so long,” Sabrina revealed. “I’ve just had so many encounters in my life…these almost interactions that never quite turn into anything.”

She continued, “They’re almost relationships where you never quite finish the story. It’s kind of awful, but I really wanted to write a really, upbeat song about it, and enter my new album with a really confident track.”
